Our Director

Paula White

Paula White is the Managing Director of PMW Industries and is one of the founders of White Springs. She is a Banjima Traditional Owner, and her cultural heritage was always instilled in her from a young age. Paula was raised by her grandparents; her grandfather was one of the stolen generation. He was born in White Springs prior to being removed and placed in Roelands Mission.

At the Mission he was given the surname “White” from his known place of birth. When Paula was twelve, they travelled to the Pilbara where her grandfather was reunited with family and reconnected with his country. It was from her upbringing, that the concept of connection and paying respect to her heritage was founded.

Paula has spent her entire career working in the community engagement sector. She worked for almost a decade in the WA Police Force and another eight years for WA Department of Justice. Paula worked for Gumala Aboriginal Corporation, supporting the education, employment, and livelihoods of Banjima, Nyiyaparli and Innawonga Traditional Owners and their children.

Paula is strongly recognized within the Banjima community where she has held positions within the Banjima Charitable Trust and Direct Benefits Trust as Chairman and Counsel member. During this time Paula was instrumental in advising on creating Polices for beneficiaries with outcomes that deliver health, education, employment, wealth creation and capacity building.

Paula is also the Director of White Springs Demolition & Asbestos which successfully completed the Asbestos remediation works on the Tom Price Karratha Road for Main Road WA.

With Paula’s leadership White Springs has secured 2 large contracts with Rio Tinto for the Supply and haulage of Rail ballast for the Koodaideri Rail Project and a 4-year contract to supply and haul Rail Ballast to Rio Tinto Coastal Locations in the Pilbara.
